Our Core Promise

Our goal is a high-performance, custom-coded website delivered on time. If the work provided has critical quality failures, fails to follow your agreed-upon specifications, or is delivered significantly late, you are entitled to a refund. We handle every request case-by-case to ensure fairness.

When Do We Offer a 100% Full Refund?

You are eligible for a complete refund (including transaction fees) in the following situations:

  • Failure to Deliver Specifications: If the project delivered does not meet the core functional requirements agreed upon in the brief.
  • Critical Quality Failure: If the codebase contains significant bugs or fails to meet professional standards (verified by a third-party audit).
  • Missed Launch Date: If we fail to deliver the project by your specified launch deadline and you no longer require the service.
  • Double Payment: If you were accidentally charged twice for the same order.
  • No Developer Found: In rare cases where we cannot match your project with a qualified expert within the project kick-off window.

Partial Refund Scenarios

Sometimes a full refund isn't applicable, but compensation is due. We offer partial refunds (20% - 70%) if:

  • Minor Specifications Missed: The developer missed a non-critical requirement (e.g., specific secondary animation), but the site is still functional and high-quality.
  • Late Delivery (Site Launched): We missed the initial deadline by a small margin, but you still proceeded with the launch.
  • Design Errors: The technical performance is good, but specific UI/UX details were not perfectly followed according to the final approved mockup.

The 'Revision First' Policy

Before a refund is processed for quality issues, we reserve the right to offer a Free Revision Window. Often, a developer simply needs clarification to address the feedback. If the revised project still does not meet the initial requirements, the refund process proceeds.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are NOT granted in the following scenarios:

  • Change of Mind (Post-Delivery): You simply decided you don't want the website after it was fully developed and delivered.
  • Subjective Quality: Claims like 'I don't like the design aesthetic' without pointing to specific requirement failures.
  • Delayed Materials: If the order was late because you forgot to upload necessary files/books.
  • Maintenance Orders: If you ordered 'Site Audit/Optimization' but expected a full relaunch of an existing legacy site.
  • Business Results (No Guarantee): While we build for conversion, we do not guarantee specific sales figures or ROI as these depend on external market factors.

Order Cancellation & 'Point of No Return'

Our cancellation policy is designed to protect our developers' time. Once a developer accepts your project and begins work, we are obligated to compensate them. Therefore, refund eligibility changes instantly based on the Project Status:

Project Status Refund Eligibility
Pending / Searching for Developer 100% Refund
In Progress (Developer Assigned) 0% Refund (Non-Refundable)*
Completed / Delivered 0% Refund

Exceptions & Store Credit

We understand business shifts happen. If you must cancel an 'In Progress' project shortly after assignment (e.g., within 24 hours), contact support immediately. While a cash refund is not possible, we may (at our sole discretion) offer a partial Project Credit for future use.

How to Request a Refund

To open a dispute, follow these steps within 14 days of receiving your final project files:

  • Step 1: Email support@thefasterweb.com with your Project ID.
  • Step 2: Clearly state the reason (e.g., Critical Bug, Specification Not Met).
  • Step 3: Attach proof (Bug reports, audit results, screenshots).
  • Step 4: Our Quality Assurance team will review the case within 3-5 business days.

Chargeback & Fraud Policy

We take chargeback fraud seriously. If you file a dispute with your bank (Chargeback) without contacting us first:

  • Your account will be permanently banned.
  • We reserve the right to report the incident to payment risk databases.
  • We will contest the chargeback with evidence of delivery (Git logs, file access logs, chat history).

Please contact us first. We are very reasonable and prefer to solve issues directly with clients.

Store Credit vs. Cash Refunds

You may choose to receive your refund as Store Credit (Wallet Balance). Store credit refunds are processed instantly and often include a 10% bonus for future orders. Cash refunds to your bank take 5-10 business days depending on your bank's processing times.
